Conekt.ai Secures Seed Round Investment from Stormbreaker Ventures to Accelerate the Future of Connectivity Orchestration

Connectivity should adapt to the world. Not the other way around.

Today Conekt announces it has secured a seed round investment led by Stormbreaker Ventures, with participation from Thermo Companies, supporting the next phase of growth for its Connectivity Orchestration Platform and Device Enablement services. This accelerates the company’s mission to simplify how devices connect across an increasingly complex network landscape.

Connectivity today is a far different environment than the infrastructure models it was originally built on. Devices now move across multiple carriers, private LTE and 5G networks, satellite communications (SatCom), global roaming environments, and edge infrastructure.

Conekt was built to simplify that.

The company’s Connectivity Orchestration Platform enables devices and systems to dynamically move across multiple network types and gives their customers the ability to select the best available connection based on performance, availability, and cost.

The result is a new model for connectivity, one that is flexible, programmable, and designed for how modern systems actually operate.

“The future will require connectivity that is programmable, adaptive, and decentralized, allowing customer control of their own networks. But technology alone doesn’t get us there.”

“It takes the right people, engineers, operators, and partners, working together to design systems that reflect how the world actually operates.”

– Jon Boeing, Founder and CEO of Conekt.

The new investment from Stormbreaker will support the continued expansion of Conekt’s services and core capabilities. As part of the investment, Derek Aberle, Venture Partner at Stormbreaker and former President of Qualcomm, will join Conekt’s board of directors. Key areas of focus include:

Connectivity Orchestration
Allowing devices to dynamically move across multiple networks and select the optimal connection in real time.

Embedded Identity Management (eIM)
Simplifying how devices authenticate and securely operate across global carrier networks, supporting the industry’s newest eSIM standards.

Private Network Integration
Enabling enterprise private LTE and 5G networks to work seamlessly alongside public carrier infrastructure.

As enterprises deploy increasingly distributed connected systems across industries such as mobility, logistics, energy, and industrial infrastructure, the ability to intelligently manage connectivity across multiple networks has become critical.

Stormbreaker’s investment reflects growing recognition that connectivity itself must evolve to meet the demands of modern digital infrastructure, and Conekt is helping organizations move beyond rigid connectivity models toward systems that are adaptive, resilient, and built for real-world complexity.

“Conekt is solving a problem that sits at the intersection of everything we invest in — the convergence of carrier networks, private 5G, satellite, and edge infrastructure into a single programmable fabric. As devices and systems become more distributed, the ability to orchestrate connectivity dynamically isn’t a nice-to-have; it’s foundational. Jon and the Conekt team have built exactly the kind of platform this next era of connected infrastructure demands.”

– Glenn Lurie, General Partner at Stormbreaker and former President & CEO of AT&T Mobility and Consumer Operations.

“Conekt has built a truly differentiated platform that addresses real pain points in the mobility and IoT sectors. Thermo Companies is committed to backing exceptional founders who are solving critical infrastructure challenges, and we see enormous potential for Conekt to become a category leader,”

– Kyle Pickens, Partner at Thermo Companies.
